Many people find it hard to believe Hitler actually had an entrancing effect on an audience when he spoke and I was one of them. Now, after hearing Obama's speech of March 18, my heart goes out to those poor deluded German people. I am stunned to hear the words of so-called analysts. Am I alone in understanding that Obama first showed how unprepared he is for the presidency by being 38 minutes late in starting his speech, a speech that SHOULD have been made when he first announced his candidacy? I, myself, am chronically late but I am not running for president. Even I know leadership calls for a man to be prompt, look people in the eye and speak the truth. It is not "politics" that makes me suspect that Obama was as late as he was because he had to calm down an angry, threatening wife who would absolutely destroy him if he dared to turn his back on Jeremiah Wright's "Social Gospel" which the vast bulk of our nation knows is nothing more than pandering to some of the black people in our nation who have been barraged with brain-washing that all the ills of black people is directly the fault of white people. There is no slick alignment of "dancing words" that will make people forget Michele Obama said that she was proud of America "for the first time in her adult life." Did Michele ever attend a fourth of July celebration? Did Michele ever hear "God Bless America" being sung? Exactly what message is Barack and Michele giving the people of America? Are they trying to insinuate that if we don't elect a black man to the presidency, that we all should feel ashamed of our country? Isn't that what Barack was saying in his extremely cleverly-crafted speech, that he was our ONLY hope to move forward with the ongoing improvement of our nation? I have a newsflash, Barack. The United States of America is still a blessed nation and the same white people who guided our nation from its infancy to where we are today are the same white people who will always be proud of this greatest of nations, regardless of who our president is. White people died in numbers exceeding 600,000 to end slavery in our nation and the Confederate soldiers were fighting for their freedom, their belief that their state was being bullied by the federal government the same way the original 13 colonies were being bullied by England. Their cause was just, the outcome if they had won will never be lnown but belief in the human decency of the American people tells me that slavery was going to end regardless of the outcome of the Civil War. For some reason, historians ignore the fact that it was poor people fighting and dying for a cause called freedom. Does any liberal in our nation care to think of what would have been if the Confederates had won? Could the soldiers of the confederacy have rejoiced in their victory against the oppression of the federal government and then looked at the wealthy white plantation owners having black people enslaved and allowed that monstrosity to continue? The Spirit of God which I believe calls all people to a more righteous path in life would had led to slave owners knowing they faced the same fate that came to the wealthy after the French Revolution if they finally refused to free the slaves. The Hispanic people of America and the Asian people of America love this nation because of what our nation is, not because of Dirty Rider and Monica, or Tricky Dick. The black people of America who love this nation have the same love of freedom, the same love of what our nation is and that love is not affected one bit because of Bull Connor, David Duke or any other hate-mongering maniac. How many blacks have served our nation wearing the military uniform of our nation and seen their fellow blacks irreparably wounded or killed, and then hear the venomous rantings of a black preacher that can only disparage those who hope for the day to come closer when all men will indeed be seen for the content of their character. Shame on you, Barack, for continuing to regurgetate the ugliness of the past with a laundry list of what black people had suffered WITHOUT also saying that it was white people who remedied the wrongs of the past, a white-dominated government that enacted and enforced civil rights legislation. It was obvious that you were not truly interested in uniting people but keeping a sense of division going so that blacks would not look at you and Hillary as 2 candidates, but would see Hillary as what Jeremiah tried to picture her as, as a member of the privileged white people. Why is it you, the self-appointed leader of change, mentioned the O.J. Simpson trial and Katrina? You know very well that many blacks believe the bungling of the federal government in delivering relief after Katrina is seen as an act of hate against black people. Why is it the media is not pointing out that many whites, both poor and wealthy, are suffering just as blacks are from the devastation smashed on to a wide swath of our gulf coast by Katrina? Why bother mentioning the Simpson trial if you're so determined to bring people together? You know very well that an extraordinary high percentage of black people believe white police planted evidence against Simpson because he is black. Isn't that exactly what Jeremiah said in one of his rantings? that the United States would plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq just like the LAPD? I'll give credit where it is due. You are one of the sneakiest, manipulative, self-serving speakers I have ever heard. Finally, I hope the people, all the people of our nation, took notice of your repeated difficulty in saying the words, God Bless America, which you repeatedly fail to say. And you expect the people of this nation to believe in you, to trust you as the president of our nation? I wish our nation had Bill Cosby interested in political office. That man is indeed seen as a man, as someone who genuinely cares about the good of our nation. He who would unify our nation is a man who will speak of the good there is within all of us, how our nation has indeed been blessed, how we have always corrected what needs to be corrected, how we have always been and will always be the bastion of freedom, how we as inheritors of the greatness of our nation will work together to continue the ongoing greatness into the future. One and all, hear me...God Bless America!
